holy moly all the damn threads are coming together masterfully! banks was such a brilliant writer! this book gives the best view as to daily life in the culture, almost as though it was done with an anthropologist's eye. it's soooo damn good what am i going to read next?!

wowww! the various scattered plot threads are starting to come together! we just found out how the one group of out of place aliens go onto the weird creature in the weird place! theres hints of a n unnamed mystery manipulator in the shadows. i cannot wait to finish this book! if not tonight then tomorrow! blessings!
