Good but strange. I didn't expect the characters from the beginning (who have basically ascended to godlike beings) to be so directly involved in the book later on. Really cool world-building. Not sure where this is going.

I want to give up on this book so badly it’s so tedious

First reread, and thirty-five years later, no less. Unfortunately, and I say this as somebody who really likes Clive Barker a lot, the larger his canvases get, the more diffuse the actual horror.
