Status Updates From Lord Sin

I must say, after reading through only the first 99 pages, I have a very strong dislike for Jonathan. He’s set up as the cold, actually kind, guy but…not after the bedroom mixup.

Until just now, the book has been fun and an easy read. The repulsion I have for him currently, is making me think twice.

We’ll see how much more I can go.

Great. Just when I thought the cliched servant courtship & endless banter couldn't get more annoying...here comes the "Hero's Non-Sexual Spanking of Immature Tantrum-Throwing Heroine" trope. STFU, okay? It's just NOT ENDEARING.

WHY U SO BORING, BOOK?? >:( Also, the heroine is an id'yit & the hero is dangerously close to a woobie-rake.

As with Twyford Street, I'm confused by the rapid switches in tone. First it seems serious & rippery...but then there's a lengthy social repartee between mother & son, followed by slapstick comedy about two servants courting. WTF. Author needs to pick one & stick with it.
