Status Updates From I Burn for You (Primes, #1)

Re-read from at least 12 years ago. Recalled very little about it other than I had enjoyed it. Not fully certain if nostalgia makes me remember it more fondly or if the progress of the genre and my reading taste make me look upon it with a bit more scrutiny. Either way I still liked it, but not as much as I thought I would and the ending was so abrupt I thought my book was missing pages.

He's okay!! Talk time!! He knew the whole time.... Her grandpa is a Hunter!! WHOA, the Lancers FOUNDED THE PURISTS!! Her great-grandmother is the old lady!! The attack!! Phew thank God that Alec is there! HEA!! I'm not sure if I liked this series or not... I think I'll give it one more book...

Everyone's wearing black but her. Damn, Primes already fighting over her... Alec arrives! He has a sister, Flare. The Matri won't allow her to contact anyone. She had a vision of her grandfather being taken or killed. Flare doesn't like her.. She can become a Matri and found her own Clan. Damn, Flares brutal. He wants her as a brood mare?!
