Status Updates From Harrison Bergeron

Not gonna lie this was a weird short story.
We read it in class(and yes I’m still gonna add it) and discussed the possibilities had this been real.
This story shows how different life could be if we took equality to the extreme, going so as to disable normal people in the name of “equality.”
A good but weird short story to relate to the class read, Fahrenheit 451.

this was the first short story that I ever remember having a profound impact on me. I read it around the time of 8th grade I believe and it has truly stuck in my head ever since. I think maybe because of the ballerinas it felt very personal and I could actually imagine the reality of the story.
