Status Updates From All That Was Promised

Loved the Gelert the dog story. Don't know it was quite the analogy needed here, but a fabulous bit of history and culture there.

I like the vagueness of the descriptions of spiritual things. I think it was a good choice. Those who are familiar will understand, and those who aren't can always ask someone who is.

The villification of a few of these characters (by the narration, not their own actions) is a bit harsh, though I think the general set-up has been well-accomplished. I'm curious to see if there's any hope left for a few of these villified ones, though. I'm hoping to be taken by surprise.
