So far, the most uplifting story includes both Japanese Internment camps AND a gay man being murdered in an alley.
This book is a nice reminder that, while we have a lot of room to go with LGBTQ rights, we HAVE made tremendous progress.
This book is, also, tremendously depressing, and I have to space out the stories herein contained by reading other whole books in between, so this will take a while.
