On the Day of Judgment, we will be held accountable for the blessings we received. If we fail to show gratitude or misuse these blessings, it is only fair that we deserve punishment because we did not fulfill our responsibility as Allah’s servants.

Gratitude, in this context, means acknowledging these gifts as coming from Allah, using them in ways that please Him, and not misusing or neglecting them.
