Status Updates From Year Of Wonders

4⭐️ This wasn’t what I expected but was it was very good! I think I’m in my historical fiction era and I’m loving it. A super fascinating story about a town that cuts itself off from the rest of the world when its townspeople become sick with the plague.

I love Geraldine Brooks’ writing style. 55% through and I’ve both cried at the heartbreak and marveled at the descriptions of beautiful moments. Despite being such a completely devastating topic, I’m excited to finish it when my hold is up again at the library!
