I borrowed this from Hoopla, basically by accident. (I thought I was borrowing a different book.) I'm always wary of older PNR. They are usually way too problematic for me. I decided to give this one, that fate dropped in my lap, a chance. I sense I am going to regret it though. So, far Charlie is about 16 different kind of victim and the romance seems to be pretty akin to a prolonged rape-fantasy. I will persevere.

I'm so pissed at Daniel. He knows what Lilly sees is important and the way he shut her down when it involved Cole shows just how big of a dick he can be. Urgh! No matter how this book ends I would truly love for him to be made aware of what his assery(made up word) could have/did bring about.

Book 2 of this series and so far all of the men in it are horrible. especially in this one. Both alphas of this story are mad rapey and/or manipulative. It's very hard reading a "romance" when you don't particularly like the male involved in said romance....I shall update later...

Wish there was more of the couple. Didn't get a feeling of falling in love--at all. They were just mates and u expect an HEA. Still very entertaining. Dropping my rating from 5-4 stars for that reason
