Egil’s Saga - good stuff with lots of adventuring (and lots of names!). The poetry with the kennings is fun: Egil’s response to his friend Arinbjorn’s present stood out to me
From kindness alone
that noble man gave the poet
a silk gown with gold buttons;
I will never have a better friend.
Selfless Arinbjorn has earned
the stature of a king
- or more. A long time will pass
before his like is born again.
