Why is the author challenging the insanity of the man who assassinated Lincoln? By using his knowledge of Shakespeare's work?
He tried to recreate the assassination of Caesor and the author suggests that he wasn't that insane because he knew his Shakespearean plays. What!
I wish the murder of Lincoln was written with more sensitivity. The author sounds like they are admiring the flamboyance of the murderer.

How is Justin Bieber's birth place being the same place they have a big Shakespeare festival relevant? Weird and random trying to link Justin Bieber to Shakespeare.
Stop saying "All things come from Shakespeare". He used the world around him create his art. Even if we didn't have Shakespeare, in today's world I bet we would just have psychology and see teenagers as a category different from adults.

Instead of calling out the sexualising of Ophelias dead body in western culture, the author plays into it and says, "the look on her face is one of pure sexual ecstasy" WTF!
The author is continuing the themes of sexlising teenagers and women's dead bodies. When he comments on the sexual pleasure shown on her face. DIGUSTING! Get some threapy!!

The authors calls out the creepiness of Romeo and Juliet and then goes on to say" their awkward lovely bodies" and "the sexist women's clothes look best on girls with whom it would be illegal to have sex"
Really creepy comments from the author.

...."with the normalization of homosexuality and every other kind of freakiness" page 39. Sexual survey of America... paints a remarkably freaky picture of daily American life" page 53.
Why does the author keep referring to sexual acts and homosexuality as freaky?
He's pointing out the bias/morality police that censored Shakespeare's work while prehaps showing his own bias towards what was originally censered?

The author is definitely a sensationalist who has some interesting takes on Shakespeare’s works and ever present influence on media. There are a few excerpts that give me the “ick”.
