If I could give this a negative number I would. There is so much wrong with it, not least of which surrounds consent and abuse. But it’s also not a well-written or well-paced book. Stopped when the book hit the scene of no return.

It makes sense and it's interesting in setting a tone. I feel the desire to punch his ears.

Eh, not quite sold on the hero. More like 30% or so.
But I like that while he's a bull headed type of hero, he backs the [FNORD] up when our heroine whams him with a silver serving cover to say no to his advices.
He's a jerk, but still, good writing.
