Status Updates From David Copperfield

The character of Dora was definitely written with some resentment in this man’s heart. Her and David’s mom are almost comically stupid, which I understand is supposed to speak to the social norms of the time, but the idea of men liking stupid women at any time is such a foreign concept to me.

“to begin my life with the beginning of my life”? oh this is going to be a long ride isn’t it

Something in me died a little when there was a time skip and they aged up David 😔
