And some facetiousness that made me laugh out loud, and is typical of the quirky humour: 'Dave has not said much this time around, which is unfair, for he is another popular fictional character and part of his obligation in his contract in all short stories is to have a line or two to provide, and give insight...'

Intriguing depiction of Lucifer here, which somehow fits in with my own ideas...This is a very thoght provoking book, to put it mildly.

For all the humour, there are deep undertones running through this: 'Removal of boundaries is a very vital point to enlightemment, which encourages an open and curious mind...Boundaries require guards are effective only if they have weapons...'

The strong writing continues, with comedy merging into the tender; I still can't get over those synchronicities about a haunting corpse and an author's characters coming to life.

The dark comedy continues, and I love that. I've just read two quite brilliant stories, and as one of these is about a conscious protagonist turning on his author, in line with what I am currently writing, this synchronicity is really quite alarming! The other is about a cult and makes serious points in am amusing way.

One of many funny quotes which have an underlying note of seriousness: - 'All those paper that were flying all over outside, they were pieces written to touch someone, and their authors do not know that. The authors do not know that their pieces have changed other lives. There was also a roll of toilet paper, it was meant for the person in a portable toilet and is on its way there...'

The bit about an author losing control of his/her character, and having a conversation with it really struck home as that's what I'm writing about at the moment, talk about synchronicity. This continues to be funny and innovative:
it's difficult to chose a quote out of a wealth of them, here's one I liked best: -
'Is it possible that in their search of intelligent beings they have decided ot skip our world?'

Having a bizarre sense of humour myself, I am really enjoying the stangeness of this series of sketches of particular instances of 'The Evolution of Insanity'.
Great quote form the hippie living in a treehouse: 'Uncle Sam is keeping us in the dark man and distracted with all these material stuff...It's heavy tough man...'

This is highly original; I haven't read much experimental writing for some years, but am finding this intriguing and challenging. The author circumvents traditional word usages and grammar to convey an extra layer of meaning into an intricate series of short stories. There is an an excellent dark comic sense running throughout.
