I’m in the section on birth. Lots of medical researchers felt fine about possibly damaging 4-cell and 16-cell human embryos existing outside of a woman’s body, which they regarded as a collection of cells. So the late celebrity Oxbridge philosopher Mary Warnock had to throw all her moral, ethical, biological and religious acumen at the problem.

I was really enjoying the first two chapters on death and birth. although not very revolutionary it was intriguing, the third chapter on rights was still good but slightly less cohesive in her writing and logic. i’m a bit in to the 4th chapter and i feel as tho the book went off a cliff. she jumps from point to point without much analysis and it makes the read slower and less enjoyable to comprehend.
