Yes, it‘s that time of the year:)

I promised myself that I would only allow myself to reread this series once per year because it's so LONG and eats way too much time, and just a few weeks ago I was sure that wouldn't be a problem this year after my reread in Febuary but now I'm stressed over a long time period and this is the perfect read for such a situation - an old all-time favourite that's calm, slow, with low stakes and deeply comforting to me.

I get why Flynn was chosen as Dale's caretaker at the ranch but shkskslfjka I probably would run screaming if he gave me the same introduction

This isn't exactly my thing. The more I see about the domestic discipline lifestyle (did I use the right lingo?), the more strongly I feel that it's not for me, I'm completely terrified of the whole concept. If it's work for sbd, good for them and I'm glad. Reading about is educational/interesting, I guess. But as a book it's not doing much for me.

Flynn: says to Dale "you have one hour to read before bed"
Me: nods along as if that's perfectly reasonable while reading for ten hours straight until deep into the night

i know Flynn's a lovely guy but tbh if i met him in person i'd be scared of him. i'd much more cling to Paul and maybe Riley
