Status Updates From Reap The Whirlwind (Killian...

This is more of a drama then mystery then the 1st. The murder mystery plot has yet to start. Ive found the drama, public outing, suicide attempt, & meeting of all the characters 2 be too straight forward (pardon the pun) there’s no ‘build up’ its been rushed out in a dizzying pace, 1 thing after the next. I can’t quite settle into the characters or their relationships due 2 the fluidity of the dramatic plot.

Call me a sucker for an emotional read, but I just had to read this one after finishing the 1st. While some of the characters of the first book are here as secondary characters, this is an entirely new MC, but he other MC was in the 1st book for a few scenes. SO far it has been just as emotional, and tragic as the first but also soul movingly tender.

This one isn't bad, so far. It's not as immediately grabbing as the 1st or the 4th.

Well written and engaging so far but not really a mysterey like I expected. I'm at page 82 (chapter 10) and we just had our first dead body.
