Okay, so there are many figures to recall to allow one to adhere go the overarching point of the text, but learning about the complexity of energy and the ways in which it is measured and understood is no less interesting.
It does help to have a background in physics and chemistry, but the book does a fine enough job of reviewing concepts such as bonding and conservation

The introduction was nice and gave a very, VERY, brief overview of the contents of the book. I will still seek to define the terms used and keep them in mind, but further explanation in the context of the situations that they are attributed to would be lovely and aid in comprehension.

I tried to read this book when I was a junior and high school and all it gave me was a headache… trying to see if I am on level now or if I have to wait another semester lol

There is a ton of specific terminology that I am pretty familiar with, but I will brush up on specific terms to make comprehension far more seamless. Ones like supersymmetry, branes, and the like are more theoretical in nature, but they’re familiar to me. Others are specifically part of doctrines such as quantum mechanics, and to the layman, I wonder how they’ll fair…
