I don't think reading theory is something I enjoy but there were moments in here with the interviews and archived letter correspondences that helped me finish it. Definitely would prefer to just go over those on my own separate from these papers but it was a good introduction and jumping off point.

I'm eating this up, totally.

Duder has this uncanny ability to write "big picture" history, and it's really helping me build a story out of the facts. I'm learning a ton from this book.

SO informative and interesting. I wish she could have interviewed more femme lesbians, but she's working with limited resources as it is.

I think this is going to be a very informative book, and the letter portions are entertaining thus far. I think it's going to be more satisfying than Sapphistries as far as information goes.
