Meanwhile, Delia, August's sister that seems to be going through it, lounges around the house as Dan gets high and Chad, the son of the landowner who wants to turn the site into commercialized property, falls for Jean, Dan's maternity leaving gynecologist wife, ...

Although the plot for this play is incredibly loose, Wilson's invigorating writing and characters are keeping this fun. I may have no idea what they're talking about half the time, but I can see how this would look onstage.
As Professor August Howe frets over a ruined archaeological excavation that cost his marriage and his sanity in the context of a slideshow, we flash back in time to that.
