Love their dynamic

Zoe is such a likable main character. Her story of grief is so realistic and so beautiful and I absolutely love the world building of this book so far. I love that it is about her staying both true to herself and finding her place in the world. It is also SO refreshing to have a main character who is 23. I’m enjoying it so much so far!!

I love this book. Everything is A+. World, characters, plot. It's very character driven slice of life but it's so fascinating & Zoe is so likeable. I totally forgot that all the princesses aren't actually royal bc the king is actually impotent. Also Darien's absolute panic knowing Zoe will definitely find out that he's Corene's father & what she'll think of him for it. Yeah drama~!

Woo hoo let's go! I love this world. I love the practice of the blessings & how society is arranged around them. It just feels so magical but in a realistic ordinary way. I love it. And Zoe has just escaped by walking away. Let's go to the river! And new friends! And healing! And coming into her own! Woo hoo!
