It’s really crazy how much sexual violence is in this YA (!!) series. I really had forgotten

I’m listening to the audiobook and they changed the narrator. The new one sounds like a child which is awful considering she starts doing more ‘grown up’ things in this book. I’m usually okay with whatever narrator but she completely changed all the accents of all the characters and makes half of them sound exactly the same. It’s really making it hard to get through after flying through the 1st three books.

I would actually be really curious to know how much of grandma Redbird’s stories are actually accurate to Cherokee cultural tradition. Do the Casts have some kind of tie to the Cherokee nation, or is this a SMeyer-Quileute situation?

Imagine being a teenager in this class and watching your teacher pop a boner pretending to strangle one his students, who is also his ex girlfriend (and like freshly 16). Like excuse me, Cast ladies, are y’all okay?
