Status Updates From The Peregrine

This was a rough start for me, although Baker’s prose is beautiful, I struggled to engage with it completely. It could’ve been an attention issue, but nothing penetrated, I had to read sentences over & over again & still they ran through me. That was until a quarter of the way through, when Baker’s narrator begins to create a solid kinship with the Peregrine, and his transformation begins.
