It’s like watching two flames; one the love of his faith, and the other the birth of his passion for writing. And while you watch the latter grow, the first is being extinguished. Everyone when growing up must shed the “religion”—whether it be a secular religion or art, community, etc—of their childhood and grow into their own “religion” and human.
