In which she finally tells the truth. Honestly, I don’t like how similar it is to Rebecca. If not for the side plot of Bénédicte, this would be nearly identical.

Fitting that this mentioned narcissistic personality disorder.

She ends up mirroring Bénédicte Lincel. Kind of fitting, I guess?

I like how quick it is to read. Very readable.

I feel like this book is a little too much like its inspiration - Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca. There is very little difference aside from the lavender and perfume “side quest.”

I’ve picked up this book again. My bookmark shows that I left off on page 156.
