I’ve never been more nervous about reading a book than I am about David Foster’s memoir. I’ve admired him as a role model for years because of the music he’s shaped. Part of my hesitation comes from never having read a memoir before—this is new territory. But this year, I’m all about conquering challenges and climbing mountains, so diving into this book feels like the perfect step.
