It’s interesting - I’ve always found capitalist arguments nonsensical. Essentially, Carnegie asserts that rich, individual men ought to donate their money, but they nevertheless have a right to earn said money first. So they are still donating their money despite possessing it lawfully to begin with. But why does this initial possession matter so much unless the man never had the intention of donating … idk
