Status Updates From A World Away: A Novel

Not my favorite

This is the weirdest book ever. I wouldn't be surprised if the resolution is divorce. That said, I really want to finish it and move onto a book that is less depressing. This one is all about missing people at war and cheating on spouses and parents fighting. Not exactly moving me either, I think because it started out so dark. Can't say I will rate this one too highly.

This book is driving me a little crazy. Almost everyone seems to be going through some kind of mid-life crisis and people are making stupid decisions. It is annoying me. I feel really bad for the kid and the wife of the soldier who died, other than that, the other characters can grow up a little.

This one confused me a lot in the beginning. There are a lot of shifts in thought from the past to the present, but now that I am used to it it isn't as bad. I feel bad for the characters because it is the middle of WWII and they all seem to hate each other. Hopefully, they resolve their differences by the end.
