G.I. Joe isn't something I grew up with, and my knowledge is down to the films and parodies of shows like Community and Family Guy. This series kicks off with the heroes being disbanded and the villains getting prime position in the US government, making for an interesting tale delivered with mismatched artwork. As I'm not familiar with many of the characters, I could've done with more characterisation for them.
