Never seen the movie and honestly idk what happens in it, intro is good so far

First time with this book, and it’s shocking how current it feels for something written in 1934. I read almost half in one sitting!

so far I’m on chapter 7- the book is lowkey confusing right now to me. I have the version with the blue cover. It’s lowkey going from like person to person and place to place and I don’t really like that especially since the chapters aren’t labeled.
