Status Updates From With the Wisdom of Owls

Since it was so long since I started this book I began again. It’s a very peculiar story of an oddly aware baby named Harry who looks like an owl and is visited by three owls who are like guardian educators. He is precocious in some ways an down right bizarrely delusional in others. He yells peculiar words like “brassiere”. Hmm… I’m ambivalent about this book but also fascinated.

Togo’s writing is a bit like Twain and Pinkwater’s mixed together. It’s weird and regional and I have enjoyed the two other books of his I have read.
