I dislike Foucault. He wrote in the first chapter which deals with the role of the bodies of people who are incarcerated that when someone is sanctioned with the status of „insanity“ that means the person can’t be guilty. From a legal perspective that is true. He adds that this means that the crime hasn’t happened then. This is not true. Idk if that’s a translation error or if Foucault was just wrong
