A tale of nature and humans as obseved by 18th century tortoise,
Timothy. Now in his eighties, a transplant from the Grecian Isles,
our narrator wanders through a hole in the fence of the English
vicarage he now calls home. An observant and poetic sort, he
learns much about the world in a little over a week's time.

Found it! I misplaced book for a while and fretted about it. Now that it's back I'm happy and enchanted again.

I'm reading this incredibly slow. It's nearly like an epic poem, such is the lyricism of the Klinkenborg's style here. (Is it his style elsewhere? I will be curious to read from the other 3 books I have authored by him.

Reading purposely slow. I look up words, I google people and places. I re-read lines because they are so good. I'm like Timothy! I am getting there, my own pace and don't see a darn thing wrong with it.

Love, love, love this book.

I misplaced this book but happily found it again! Starting over.

I'm dying. I'm dying from the joy of this! I'm already dreading when it will end.
