This is probably the most anime book I've ever read, including actual Japanese Light Novels.

There's plenty of room left to go bad but right now this is the most an Urban Fantasy book has grabbed me since the Dresden Files. Maybe InCrytpid, but this is one I'm more likely to personally enjoy on a deeper level.
