Status Updates From The Last Queen of the Gypsies

Near-rape again. Now father-daughter incest. I can handle these things in a story when they don't occur every ten pages and seem to serve a purpose, but I just feel like Cobb is trying to write a lurid, degrading story with stereotypes about gypsies and degrading fantasies about perfect, beautiful, and shapely woman who is arguably "unusual" due to a physical feature they have no control over. I give up.

And, srsly, do we have to mention the anaaaazing bicolored eyes every paragraph? This guy should get together with Patrick Rothfuss, as they are both good at making irresistible, transient whores all men can't help but love. I am about to give up on this book.
