Status Updates From The Cat's Table

Can’t lie, I am really not enjoying the writing style… I feel I am constantly losing my place and it’s not flowing well. The order of events and phrases is not how I would order it; I feel each sentence is either pulling you back or throwing you too far forward so I’m finding it a bit jarring. Will try again tomorrow.

Not sure if this is an autism thing, but often when I start a new book, I feel completely lost and confused for the the first 2/3 characters. I think this is because I haven’t become used to the voice of the author yet, so I get tangled in their chronology and who’s who. So far it’s definitely bouncing around so fingers crossed I catch up!

Starting a re-read, this time on ebook, rather than audio.
