I think Jeremy needs more space in this story. He's gotten important, but I still don't really like him and that's not helping - especially with my love for Lorcan.

Isn't Prince of Dread the perfect title for such a despicable creature?

There were a lot of laws mention, procedures described and probabilities count. It was distracting and messed with the pace of the story, imho. To the point where I was contemplating a dnf. Not a patient person, me. However, learning what's going on behind the scenes of the opening episode is definitely a bonus. I do like that idea.

Page 3 and I am cringing. Being brave on a battlefield is one thing, but finding yourself being a powerless hostage and facing a meaningless death is a totally different animal, imho :/ Especially for a civilian, an actress. Excuse me if I forgive the woman for being terrified. Jeremy, you are a judgemental prick.
In other words, not a good start for me :(

I've forgotten how much I loved Lorcan

I can't even begin to describe the difference that re-releasing this & having Greg Tremblay narrate it has made in how much easier it is to follow the story. He's so good with accents and giving a distinctive voice to each of the characters...

Re-listen since the book has been re-released with Greg Fucking Tremblay doing the audio this time around. HELLZ yeah, peeps!
