I was 16 the first time I read this book. I remembered it, but I had forgotten so much... I remember loving it and I am hoping it still holds up to time. So far it has. :)

The preachy pacifist monologue (although she does defend herself and others) but the breast beating afterwards 🙄

So sorry but I don't care about the grief of the families left behind that were fed by men who murder, kidnap and then sell children and teens into slavery. Or defend the self involved asshats that purchase them.
