Status Updates From In the Balance (Worldwar, #1)

I know it's the time period but seems pretty gay. Yeager gazing at a man's naked back, explicitly calling out that they're naked and walking to the shower together. I never did the whole sports locker room thing but it just seems hard to believe two straight guys chatting naked.

With the way the book is going and the page count is leaving me. I feel like the only way this book is ending is humanity firing a nuke and then the next page goes blank. I am fully expecting having to start searching for the next Worldwar books from Turtledove

The airplane stuff is a bit hard to follow for me but I love the tank stuff. So intense and so evocative.

I think I need to write down a small personal guide that covers all of the different perspectives happening here. Russian Pilots, German Tankers, Newly drafted Americans and Chinese Peasants. This story definitely does a lot to cover a lot of ground.
