I’m afraid I’m going to sound like a pirate when I go to Japan if I keep learning Japanese with this manga. Everyone uses colloquialisms and informal ways of speech in it. No joke, I now know how to say “booze”, “pirate”, “shut up”, and “cowards” in Japanese (while still struggling with the basics). Imaging me walking in a bar in Japan.
