Ava is being haunted by a spirit named Johnny, and it turns out Ava and the others are being haunted because they need to get their past stories out in order to come to peace. Freedom attends another meeting with the movie director, but this time with Ava as lawyer by his side, he takes control and now has production over what he wants in the movie. It's been a good read so far and I expect more spirits to visit them.

Freedom has to meet with his attorney Ava about the movie deal as well as the house he wants to buy.A haunting begins. Ava had to check the house with the person in charge of selling the house. When visiting, they see the spirits of the past. Scared, they leave immediately. Ava goes home to sleep but wakes up startled and crying with a spirit right in front of her. This makes me wonder why they are being "haunted".

Freedom's experiences all eventually tie in together. As predicted, Ngozi the captured slave spirit seems to be staying at the house on Tubman street, the one Freedom wants to live in. Freedom visits the house and is "haunted" by seeing these spirits. Later on, a movie agency wants to make a movie based on his music. I am curious to read on what Freedom will do about the proposal.

I've read the first few chapters but the plot hasn't picked up yet.So far the character Freedom, a Hip-Hop producer is trying to move to a new house with rumors it being haunted. Flashbacks of an enslaved man are shown throughout the chapters. I predict the flashbacks are somewhat related to the house Freedom is about to move into.
