Avoiding the phrase, “I have to go to work” is a simple change to avoid starting the day with negative energy. It reminds me of a book Make Your Bed with starting the day with a small victory. You may not know what the rest of the day holds but why not set yourself up for success

This mornings chapters looked at acknowledging others, bridging spirituality with work, and not taking the 20/80 rule personally. I realize it easy to let others work or effort be frustrating but in the end you can’t teach work ethic. With focusing on moral principals, tough times don’t disappear but will become more manageable in the long run

From today I learned the benefits of the TGIT club. Instead of the backhanded negative around TGIF and dreading the week, thinking “thank god it’s today” is a simple shift to focus on the small things and be more grateful of living in the moment. Time flies by too quick to only live for the weekend
