It turns out I DID read this one before, but I forgot every bit of it (and it's so good!) till one event happened at least 3/4 in. Now I remember who done it, too. But I forget a lot of the rest and of course will continue. I'm not sure how I managed to read this one and not realize that A Play of Piety, its predecessor in the series, had been written. I definitely read that for the first time a few weeks ago.

I'm sad to be starting on the last of the 24 novels by this wonderful author - I wish there could be more, but she has died. Though I need to be grateful that there turned out to be two more than I knew about, this one and A Play of Piety.
