Egalitarian vs hierarchical scale was very interesting because, while I knew what each meant, I never realized quite how extreme those could be, or how healthy hierarchy could be as long as the individuals know what their roles need to fulfill. When stepping into the role of a leader in a hierarchy, it comes with great responsibility to protect and care for your subordinates, egalitarian models are much more relaxed.

I’m really enjoying the examples that lead you to better understanding of the concepts as well as just how much nuance there is in every one of the scales. Some things I never really considered in communication, some things I think about pretty often. I love that this does not portray anything as “bad” or negative but simply with the relativity each deserves
