Very good writing to draw out each scene in the closing chapters of the book. I’d say there’s about 100 pages left and there is light at the end of the tunnel with the direction of the plot. I’m exited to see how it ends with the additional plot points added in the recent chapters.

All my friends love Iain Banks' books, but I couldn't get into this. I was obviously not in the right mood. Or maybe it's a book I'd be better off reading rather than listening to. I think I have to give it some space and then start again.
