The oddest thing about this book (which is delightful) is that unlike most pulp-fantasy from the 1980s...the cover-artist opted to put MORE clothing on the female character. Since the character in the book has virtually no clothing on, because she is an immortal wood nymph with no real concept of "modesty" and no need to dress in anything other than leaves. And no, it's not salacious or sexist in the narrative!
