Crazy to read a book from the 90s where the antagonist is a carnivore misogynist leading a cult and the protagonists main way of refusing the call is shutting him and his family off from the larger world and insisting that if war comes to them that they’ll just Move. And also massive climate change is happening

Great series from the authors. I've collected these. They write about stories of indigenous tribes of North America. Ancestors are always important to these people. This sequel to the People of the Wolf continues their struggles to survive under rough conditions. They are trying to find a place to find home. It's about survival.
