No way that’s valancourt. Thoughts so far, since I picked it up cos of Jane Austen’s bookshelf, and because I’m a self proclaimed gothic lover: it is engaging, and very descriptive, and good mood setting! I mean it’s probably not my fav pick cos it’s not really for a modern audience but I think this Ann Radcliffe lady is legit as hell!
