Status Updates From Ambient Parking Lot

This is a book insists on being read slowly. Each sentence demands attention (because our narrator, of course, is, well...) :)

Completely off the rails, even compared to her first novel. Almost like a mutant patchwork of (the only) Tao Lin (I’ve read) and Pynchon, whilst being wholly aware of how ridiculous it is.

“We sought consolation in our extensive record collection, but the albums that had once given voice to our most ardent feelings now struck us as childish and stale, as if by overplaying them through the years we had pressed traces of our past selves onto the vinyl, engraving our most unflattering aspects into the grooves”
